What sets our pizza apart from the rest in town? It is all about the quality of ingredients and the love of the craft! 

  • We use a finely milled Antimo Caputo 00 Flour imported from Italy for superior quality 
  • Grande Mozzarella, boasting the perfect melt, stretch and flavor
  • No unnecessary fillers, anti-caking agents, or preservatives most commercial cheeses contain
  • Our dough is mixed inhouse and undergoes a 2 day fermentation for flavor, rise, texture and taste

We spent an awesome evening at Pirates Hideaway- pizza at the Tiki Bar, an evening ride on the Eagle River chain. All was picture perfect- the ride was a blast, we enjoyed a post-ride cocktail and live music at the Tiki Bar. Many thanks to Captain Steve, Steve-o, Linda, and the entire crew for creating this welcoming and FUN experience.

Relaxing lakeside, Dog Friendly, wood fired pizza!!

We love Pirates Hideaway! Every time we are in Eagle River we stop in for a great wood fired pizza and an amazing lakefront for relaxing. We took the ride on the ship a few times and love the eagle sightings and tour of the lakes by Captain Steve. Pirates Hideaway is dog friendly establishment which we love. You cannot go wrong on a summer day in Eagle River at Pirates Hideaway!

Best Pizza in the Northwoods

We live an hour south in Rhinelander and I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place until last summer. Our first time was on the pirate ship tour and the second was when a friend rented out the ship for her son’s birthday party. Both tours were beautiful and relaxing. The family who own this business are professional, personable, and care about their customers and local community. Everything described above is reason enough to return, but our FAVORITE part about our visits is the wood fired margherita pizza! I have an appreciation for quality pizza that grew out of going to graduate school just outside New York. This pirate pizza is on par with Pepe’s and Sally’s of New Haven and it’s by far the BEST PIZZA IN THE NORTHWOODS. Can’t wait to have another!
