Disclaimers: Pirates Hideaway is a family friendly business with our primary season being Memorial Day through Labor Day. Please know for our Scenic Fall Pirate Ship Tours our on property operations (woodfired pizza and ice cream shop) will not be open. We will have our tiki bar and gift shop open ahead of the cruise to enjoy our available offerings. Join us Memorial Day through Labor Day with your crew to enjoy the full Pirates Hideaway experience! Weather related cancellations are at the sole discretion of Pirates Hideaway. You will receive a full refund for any cancellations that we make due to weather. If the weather is unfit for cruising we will be in touch with you before the cruise to update you on the status of the ride.
General Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations for any reason made in writing via email PRIOR TO 72 hours (3 days) of a ride will receive a full refund. No questions asked.
- Cancellations made within less than 72 hours of a ride, unfortunately, will not receive a refund, as seats are limited and in most cases it is too difficult for Pirates Hideaway to fill the empty seats.
- If we are able to rebook the empty sets, we are happy to refund your fees, but there will be a $10 fee per ticket to help supplement the extra time it takes to research and rebook the seats.
- Individuals who do not show up or are late for departure will unfortunately also not receive a refund, regardless of the reason.
We appreciate your understanding. We fully understand that accidents happen, and that unforeseen circumstances may prevent you from joining us last minute. We are a family run business and know that things come up. We genuinely sympathize with your circumstances. Please understand though that because we are are a small family business with a very short season filled with rain dates and other pauses in business, it is difficult for us to go with empty seat on our tours because availability is so limited. It has a direct impact on us and our wonderful staff. We too understand that if we sign up for something and can’t make it for any reason we would want to still support that business that held spots for us that would go unused based on our absence. Again, we sincerely appreciate your understanding and the reasoning behind our policies. We look forward to sharing the adventure with you!
